Palatino Hotel, Zakynthos Town

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable with a huge balcony and a nice mountain view. The staff at reception, especially the lady, was helpful when I requested to stay two days more without changing rooms. However, the room key had to be inserted for the electricity to work, which is good for the environment but not ideal if you want to keep the air-conditioning on when you're out. The initial cleanliness was a bit lacking as we found a broken piece of glass on the floor, hair in the bathroom, and some dusty objects.

I had a wonderful time at the hotel! The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed with an amazing sea view from the balcony, although it was a bit far from the sea. The service was exceptional, with staff being very nice, polite, and helpful. The location was perfect, just minutes away from the town's promenade and shops. As for dining, there was a variety of very good food every day. Overall a great experience with some minor drawbacks.

While the rooms are relatively small and the furniture is a bit old-fashioned but clean, the overall comfort was fantastic. The breakfast was standard with few items, so don't expect a lavish spread.

My stay at this hotel was simply wonderful! The room I stayed in was super cozy with a comfy large bed, good quality bedding, ample storage space, and a fantastic balcony with a table and chairs. The view of the mountains from my balcony was breathtaking. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a free safebox, complimentary Wi-Fi, a large bathroom, and a well-stocked minibar. The lady at the reception was exceptionally accommodating when I asked if it was possible to extend my stay without changing rooms.
